On Friday 13th December Tuam Cancer Care are inviting all businesses, schools, colleges, clubs and crèches in Tuam and surrounding areas, to GET INTO THE FESTIVE SPIRIT and take part in Christmas Jumper Day in support of the free and confidential cancer related support services offered at the Centre
Everyone will be invited to wear their silliest, sparkliest or cosiest Christmas woollies and make a donation of €2. If someone doesn’t have a festive sweater, don’t worry – it’s easy to decorate a plain jumper with tinsel, baubles or homemade snowflakes.
If your workplace does not permit wearing Christmas jumpers, why not instead consider wearing a hat, a Christmas brooch, a Christmas tie or even your favourite Christmas festive socks! If the 13th December doesn’t suit you, you can choose one that does.
Go on, encourage your family, friends and work colleagues to take part in the fun and frolics.
Tuam Cancer Care can supply participants with a personalised Christmas Jumper Day Poster with your company logo and date of your choice.
We’d really appreciate your help to make Christmas Jumper Day a huge success.

This year to continue this tradition in a way that protects the health and well being of our community, we are making the Survivors Celebration Walk a virtual event. And although we will miss gathering in person in the Palace Grounds, we are excited about the opportunity to celebrate, virtually, with cancer survivors and their families and friends.
We are asking you to get together with your own family and supporters, choose a time and a place that is special to you and walk 5km on Sunday 11th of October.
This event has become Tuam Cancer Care’s biggest fundraiser in the calendar and this year, more than ever, we need your help to support the cancer related services that the Centre offers.
